LA’s Nightclub and Luckie’s Bar, Hull, Report, 2/02/09

Feeling lucky I decided to go back here, though I picked one of the worst days I could for it. As I started to make my way inside I had a couple of holy **** moments as a result of spikes, ice and snow.

LA’s and Luckie’s Bar were some of the now defunct night life places around the St Stephens development, Along with CircusCircus (Across the road) it closed several years back. Inside the building itself there are two parts (LA’s nightclub occupies the majority of the building while Luckie’s Bar his tucked away in one corner of the building down on the first floor. Despite being so close to the city centre this place is out and out trashed, though it still makes an interesting explore. Some of the left behind paper work is quite shocking, someone didn’t do their job properly when that was left to rot.

Building is no longer watertight in places and evidence of fire starting is apparent in sections of LA’s.
