Hingham ROC Post - (Norfolk Group) - May 2009

We were passing Hingham yesterday so called over to post. Opened in 1957 and closed in 1968, last visit by Subbrit was 98. All surface features intact although the top of the air shaft is missing. In 98 post was clean internally although tiles falling of walls, folding table, shelf, cupboard, twin bunks and single bed were still present. Hatch is locked up but would be no problem to ring off, but no point knowing whats down there. Another off our list.

Access could be gained very easily.
