Duston ROC Post - (Northamptonshire Group) - Nov 2009
Located next to some kind of old reservoir in the middle of fields below St Crispins Asylum. The post is set very low in the ground, and the compound has an unusual high fence. Old reports show it to have one padlock, however now there are none. Two of the staples are mangled however, preventing access. I don't know how much longer this post will last, there is building work going on all around it. The nearby farm and bungalow are boarded up, and there is a very new looking gate with a HCA private property sign at the bottom of the drive :thumbd

Re: Duston ROC Post - Bedford Group - Nov 2009
Made a return visit with MD after seeing the post was open again. Someones been busy with the angle grinder! Various items seem to be missing including photos, sump pump, mind your head and back sign x2, teapot, timer switch, cups, glitto, rations, blanket, paperwork, and other items. Part of the jerry can tipper was outside, and the blue plastic box in previous pic is on the floor. Seems like someone has been taking stuff for a resto, but other items of interest have been left behind which I dont understand
I really wish this post could be restored by someone, its very unique inside, has st crispins as a backdrop, and a nice aircraft post there too! Only downside is the distance from the road! Afraid the pics are proper crap!
