Riseley ROC Post - (Bedfordshire Group) - March 09
Well must admit me and Kingrat were not expecting much from this post, and we were not to be proved wrong:cry:
Lurking in its own overgrown, bramble infested, compound lurks one of the most saddest posts surviving in Bedfordshie.
Closed in 1991 the post is flooded half way up the shaft.
This is Bedford's own "Hyde" ROC Post, in need of pumping out:confused:
No surface structures remain (visible) other than the shaft.

The hatch of dispair!

Flooded:thumbd I felt sorry for this post and wanted to pump it out:D

The best thing to do was close the hatch and walk away from the dispair that was within:(
Re: Riseley ROC, Bedfordshire Group 17/03/09 Report
What makes this post possibly unique is its fame! Its shown in the ROC book 'Attack Warning Red' on how an ROC post was constructed.
Here's a link to the photo's on Subbrit::thumb
