Mundesley ROC Post (Norfolk Group) February 2012

Opened in 1960 and closed in 1991.

Found it by accident on the top of the hill near the golf course.

Hatch mechanism works perfecly but unfortunately the post was full of water, and as it was 6am and -6 I wasnt going for a wade in it. Will be coming here again in the summer and have another look inside.

There use to be plenty of paperwork down there, and the post was dry circa 2010! Don't look like that now:w00t

Sign on the hatch is gone as well so maybe someone saved the stuff from this post. Thanks for posting though, that water looks pretty deep :O
