Re: Chop Gate ROC Post (RESTORATION)
I was here today and id say it was the penultimate restoration day, the last being the bunkbed installation when i get the all clear from the bunkbed owner.
A heater was placed down there andnow the post is completly dry with all condensation from the paintowrk gone.
The BPI pipe was cleaned and the cover oiled.
The FSM cover bolts were oiled but stuck tight, theyre going to be cut off with an angle grinder next time im there.
Two new vent covers were installed.
The Master post dome was installed.
The coir matt which had gone everywhere was hoovered up.
I was given a training manual.
Paperwork was put on the wall.
All painting finished.

Chop Gate Post - FINISHED - OPEN DAY PHOTOS!
Thanks for the 86 people that turned out today! Thanks to Industry for loaning of the major equipment. Thanks to all those that donated money (£97.00). Thats too Matt for donating uniform items. Thanks to TripleSix for all his help.
We had a really nice day. Terrible weather. Everyone was fed, nice to see some people from this site, and nice to trade things with them.
My camera is poorly. I dont know what possed me to use the 20D when i had a 1000d in the case too, i could have gotten non crap photos if i had!
Oh yeah, nothing is left in here at all. Only some rusty pans and the bunkbeds :)
If any people who came read this, please upload your photos, because theyll be better than mine!
I need to learn how to turn raw off, its a nuisance. My whole camera needs cleaning i think, or maybe something newer.
