Lillesden, Kent, April 2013

This is my second report, and another familiar but favourite spot.

Been here quite a lot and have never been disappointed. After hearing about the fire I thought it were time to go back and see the damage.

Was a really successful visit, got up the fire escape to get a view of the whole property and also went and explored the basement for the first time to do some light painting. Spent a good 3+ hours there. Bumped into an odd couple who kept hammering into us "safety in numbers" and then followed us to Babies Castle afterwards. We ended up hiding in the attic (as they weren't very adventurous and spent the majority of the time standing still chatting about tiles instead of looking around the place)... and managed to loose them woohoo!

I think the 'odd couple' you met are mr beardy and badbatz, two prominent members of our forum.

maybe, although he didn't have a beard, neither had a camera and they weren't from the UK
