Arrow Wredon Quarry. Staffordshire. Sept 2010. (pic heavy)

There's little or no info at all on this place apart from they quarried limestone for crushing. And once owned by the giants Tarmac. And as with a lot of Quarries that are deemed to be an eyesore, this one escapes that stigma. Out of sight out of mind.

Judderman 62 did this solo back in August, and I've been wanting to visit ever since. A great explore indeed, and for those who prefer not to be on Terra Firma, then this is a climbers playground for sure

One word of warning though....... The Porta Cabins floors are not safe, and the general climbing aspect should be treated with caution.

    Enjoy

    Thanks for looking.

Well this pulled up shortly after we arrived, followed by 2 unsavory looking characters and a fistful of dogs in varying size. Make of it what you will

Whatever the unsavories were up to, they were very polite (asked me and noods if we were bird watching and seemed a tad surprised when we said we weren't) and the dogs were lovely (even though the younger chap told me they could only walk them 'in places like this' as they didn't get on with other dogs?? Little Reefer was gorgeous)

However, was feeling a bit shit on this day (no..NOT a hangover OR women's thingies) so cheers to the good folks for putting up with me. (At least I was quiet, eh judders!)

Great stuff SH. Love the lab stuff, flask and test tube holder are mmmm

    A few of mine

Yeah nice to see you are feeling better joybee. Back to your usual self now then Love the reflection shot and fearless Theoss.

And note to Bucolic............. I think this place was meant to be mothballed. All moving parts stand still and will remain that way.
