Arrow BR Foundry - Pudsey - December 2010

I had a spare hour yesterday so I thought I'd have a quick wander around the long deceased Bowman Radley Foundry in Pudsey. This place closed back in 2005 with the loss of all jobs. The machines were auctioned off and the place has sat empty and getting more and more trashed since then.

I first visited back in 2007 and this place is now on its last legs and awaits demolition in 2011. I still haven't figured out my new camera so sorry for the lack of quality

Outside, still a good foot of snow on the ground and many pikey footprints.

Inside has been stripped of anything of value and I mean anything.

Some of the labs remains but the cool test equipment that used to be here has been vandalised.

Metal scrotes have even had the railings away.

Upstairs has been turned into a bmx track.

    The chair of doom........

    Thanks for looking

Nice to see this again. Is this the one you did the blue pictures of? Always good seeing places that aren't done that often

Pudsey is a place as well as a bear..never knew that. The snow shot is gorgeous.

Some chairs in abandoned places can be quite comfy...wonder if it was comfy as well as doomy?
