Spillers Millenium Mills - London - October 2010
Visited with OLDSKOOL and Host
Well, this was a 'biggun' as we'd say up north. A reasonably easy way in but a real pain to get out of. Basically, we seen Mr Security on the way in, but he was busy fishing, so we sneak in as you do. On the way out he'd moved, a comedy moment involving Host sneaking up to his SUV later and we were on our way out. That leap of faith y'all talk about, its not bad doing it, but once over you look back and go "FOOK". Turns out its not that bad, Oldskool had to whip out the emergency candy floss to tempt toast over but other than that no major incidents (Asides from bemused tourists watching us).
History...
Millenium Mills is a brownfield site along the Royal Victoria Dock in the south east of London, between the Thames barrier and the ExCel exhibition centre alongside the newly built Britannia village. There are two former, now derelict, turn of the century mills occupying the site, the smaller one known as the Rank Hovis Primier Mill and the larger the Spillers Millennium Mills as well as an old, now restored, grade II listed grain silo, labled the ‘D’ silo
