Rubha Nan Sasan,Ross and Cromarty

Rubha Nan Sasan Coastal gun enplacements were responsable for guarding the entrance to the convoy holding area at Poole Ewe and consisted of Two 6 inch guns,Two searchlight positions, Generator poitions for all bunkers and a observation/control bunker.There was also another set of guns on the other side of of Loch Ewe,There was also a boom across the water further up the coast. The area was also defended by heavy anti aircraft guns.
