Default West Bowling - Mortuary Chapel

    Bradford

Its Christmas Eve and I have choices, take 2 kids to Toys R Us battle with traffic, even worse keep the kids from battling if they think one has had a pound more than the other or visit a crumbling Victorian masterpiece..

    No contest...

This little chapel would have been used just prior to the burial service, there would have been 2 at the cemetery, one for the Anglican dead and the other for the dissenters, I know no which this one is. Its literally falling down but retains some nice features including the tiles, carved stonework and the original pews although they are in short supply and rotting away.
