RAF High Ercall, Shropshire - 18/01/11

RAF High Ercall in Shropshire was opened in 1940 and was used by fighter command during WW2. After this period the base was used as RAF MU and as a sub site for RAF Cosford, until it closed in 1966. Currently it is used for storage, industry and police dog training, although many of the building still remain unused. We decided to take a trip out. Wasn't expecting much, but we where pleasantly surprised
