Default Slaley ROC Post - (Northumberland Group) - Jan 2011

    Closed 1991

    Status: Jammed

It looks a mint post and i was dead gutted we couldnt get in.

It looks like part of the tbar, or counter balance has fell off and jammed under

As 666 was stood on top and me trying to turn the key we heard: "WHAYAYEEEEEEEEEEE MAN! WHAT YE THINK YE DEEIN! WUD YOU LIKE IT IF I CAM AN BRAYED OR YOR DOOR LEEK!"

And extremely large 7ft giant farmer was fastly approaching.

I was shitting bricks but triple six handled the situation very calmly!

Turns out he was a canny guy, who was just looking out for his property. He gave us his card so we could ring him and he would help us break into the post and re secure it.

It has a very unusual paint job!

He tried to get back in a few years ago with a powertool, but gave up in the end.

There will be a return visit so keep a look out!
