Lindley clock tower stands near the Huddersfield Hospital and is a spectacular Art Nouveau creation built to get mill workers to their jobs on time
It was built in 1902 and has a lovely Potts clock at the top. It was open for heritage day so I made the journey to the top and then up a small rickety ladder to the clock mechanism, Squirrel68 braved the ladders too
As the tower is open only once every three years, I took a video of the clock tower and was lucky enough to be up there when it chimed. The next climb to the bell tower looked good but I wasn't allowed
More info on the tower here.
