There were plenty of tears and plenty of laughter and not an empty seat to be had. Mozaz got the send off he deserved. And the icing on the cake was the fact that the sun was shining on George Barnsley's God bless mate.

    Really well said Gaz,
It was really nice to visit The Fat Cat after the very good service,(In which his friends who got up to reflect on their lives around Mozaz were truly awesome)
And for you to have one of his favourites, A pint of pale rider and the steak pie..... you done him proud fella.

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to Mozaz's final day. As far as I am concerned, it was a resounding success, a day I am sure he would have approved of. I hope we managed to get a good balance of humour and unconventionality whilst still remaining respectful. To see so many people turn up at George Barnsleys really lifted me and on arriving at the crem, I burst into tears seeing how many people had come. I think we did my old mate proud! I still have quite a few 'orders of service' booklets left so if anyone wants one, just let me know ok.

Once again, thanks so much to everyone.

Visited George Barnsley's last weekend to see the plaque....and to great disappointment the plaque was missing. Can't believe someone would do that

They probs thought it was an old plaque for some old worker and nicked it with a load of other stuff, or the owner took it down. I kind of expected it but I doubt it was an explorer
