    Arrow Seacroft Hospital - Leeds - 2010

Right this is the jewel in the Leeds hospital crown, second only to HR whcih is now half a housing estate.

I had a look round here last year and most if not all of these corridors are now sealed and boarded. It's a fine old part of the hospital and it'll sure be a shame when it comes under the wrecking ball soon to make way for a new develoment.

    Some history on Seacroft Hospital.

Seacroft Hospital is based in York Road in the area of Seacroft, Leeds, LS14 West Yorkshire, England and is operated by the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The hospital was founded in 1904, originally to care for people with infectious diseases. It celebrated its centenary on 29 September 2004.[1] By the entrance is a local landmark, a clock tower (Grade II listed building) which is also a water tower, holding 28000 gallons of water.

Many of the buildings are in a poor state of repair and the health authority are considering selling off the older parts of the hospital for redevelopment.

Looking along the longest corridor ever, the central spine.

Plants are plastic and dusty. Only one light in 5 is on in this part of the hospital.

Disused childrens ward, ward J, K and L were for children by the looks. Most of it very securely locked.

Couple of Ward L from the outside.

    Derelict toilet LOL.

This is the boarded up mortuary, the sign near the door says "Undertakers Entrance"

    Thanks for looking
Under the radar, over the top
