Being an island, with the high cost of importing things, everything tended to get recycled. Vehicles were no exeption, but these scrapyards tend to be hidden amongst fields. Being under British control until 1964, a lot of the stuff carries familiar names. With Malta becoming an EU member, a lot of the old is rapidly disappearing, so it was important to record something different and not touristy!
The place was deserted on a Sunday afternoon, so it was a quick explore, in case the owners turned up! There was junk everywhere, the most weird being loads of new bogs, in the most vile colours!
