Arrow Monument Drain - Batley - March 2011

Had my eye on this place for some time now. Don't know why I haven't done it before! Myself, Clough and Fowle ventured into Batley armed with waders and lighting for some more drainy banter.

We walked as far as we could upstream, helped a load of pigeons escape that were trapped behind some netting, then began the downstream stroll, snapping on the way.

    MONUMENT DRAIN

    Love this brickwork!

Not that much further downstream is the Transporter Drain (seen >>HERE<<) where we all got stupidly soaked last October!

    Thanks for looking

    Fowleandclough's addition to the set....

i dont know why i took this.... or even posted it ?

    bad angle

    creamy fall

    thats it for me

forgot to mention, we saw a load of regular pigeons, but we did actually see three of these rare things.
