Things at Chop Gate are starting this year, with work being done to ensure that the Post is up to scratch for our first open day of the year - Sunday 29th May.

Triple Six worked very hard yesterday installing new vents and painting them black and doing a lot of groundworks to ensure we have enough space for our refreshment tent.

I went up today to take stock and see what was needed. There will be a day of vigourous painting and cementing sometime soon, re-felting part of the roof of the aircraft post and then all will be well for our open day.
