To be honest, when it comes to caves me and buddah are very much novices, we've done LOADS of mines, but these are a very different kettle of fish. It doesnt help that i have a major fear of been in any space that has water and is confined, I.E. ANY wet crawl, this is cos when i was 12 (ish) i got trapped in a tight space in a cave while the watter was rising, took them 2 hours to get me out and resulted in a broken arm and dislocated shoulder, as well as various scares.
This is that bad that even on the crab walk in giants hole, various bits made me very light headed and gave me blury vision (mainly towards the end where it gets a bit tight and you have to lie in the water to get round one of the corners), i will have a go at pretty much anything, but if this had of been any wetter, i would of turned back, now i've done it with not much water in it, and i know i easyly fit through, i would have a go at it with a bit more flow, but if you're wondering why we are doing the novice stuff, it's cos thats what we are.
no problem with SRT though, so if you know of anything that has lots of big pretty formations, and doesnt involve swimming through tiny holes, give us a shout
alum pot might be worth a shot, not sure about water etc ccm will though
