Arrow RAF Upper Heyford - 620th Security Police SQ Bunker - 2010

Visited with permission in 2010. Please remember all these buildings are securely locked and not accessible without permission from the owners.

This bunker was quite interesting (when we got in, even with keys, this place is hard to crack!!) the old map board, which seemed to have been backlit and has since been removed, still has a faint visible outline of the base.

The telephones had quick dial buttons to various other US & UK airfields in the country. I have heard that in another bunker (not on site) they had a quick dial button reserved for the local takeaway lol.

This bunker is on the site that has been designated for demolition for new housing, I would like to see how long it will take them to demolish this!!
