Arrow The Grange, St Andrews. 21/05/2011

The Grange is a higgledy piggledy house five minutes walk outside of St Andrews, on the Anstruther Road. I don't know much about it but I have a few paths of enquiry so I'll report back when I know more about its history. It was lived in relatively recently so has lost some of its character due to very modern electrical fittings, and the local kids obviously use it as a drinking den.
The panels in the front door have been kicked in and the floors are still in good condition, so good access!

View from outside (not the prettiest building from the outside, but its set in a huge expanse of land)

    Entrance Hall, lovely arch features

    Front room

Very pretty staircase to the attic

There are two roll top baths still in the house! Those things cost a bomb!

    Children's Nursery detail

Some features as yet untouched by the local kids!
