Both of these shelters were dug into the chalk cliffs of Portsdown hill during ww2.
Coopers air raid shelter was a private shelter and the radio station was linked to UGHQ
under nearby Southwick Fort. mobile phone pics this time nearly got enough money for my DSLR
Coopers shelter entrance 40ft up now due to further quarry work after the war.
