Whilst chatting with Nelly over a quick beer last week the subject as always quickly went onto exploring and where our next location would be.
Nelly explained he’d been talking with a couple of guys from Kent ,who were heading over to the docklands at the weekend to have a mooche around the Millennium Mills, the sole survivor of the three that were built on the Royal Victoria Docks.
Having not had the pleasure and hearing of the leap of faith though why not before it gets converted into swanky river side pads.
The Mill was built back in 1905 by William Vernon and Sons, and was quickly bought by the Spillers Company and used in the making of flour and for what Spillers are best known for today dog food.
The place closed the mid eighty’s and has since been the back drop for concerts ,big and small screen productions and of course us lol,
We set off nice and early and met up with Wevsky,Space invader,Silver rainbow and last but not least Obscurity.
They’d arrived before us and had done some good ground work & were well clued up
So we hit the ground running and were quickly inside
The leap of faith done all eyes were now on the floor which quite strongly and in a funny way resembled a Swiss cheese in certain areas
Whilst skirting around sec on our way we came accross a boat moored near by and descided to take a quick look as it appeared to have already been boarded by pirates or pikeys of some sorts.
Without a doubt seen better days
With our first and a minI nuatical explore done it was time to head off underground after a quick pit stop
Thanks for looking in
