Sorry but the photos are too overcooked for my tastes, I preferred your last lot to these. Keep experimenting, as long as you like them, that is all that matters.

You're developing an eye for composition Kelsey - and that's the secret to a good picture. The tone-mapping is a little over done and rather flat for me, but HDR is one of those super-marmite processes - you can both love it and hate it at the same time. The fourth one has some quite large blown areas in the sky, suggests that the full dynamic range wasn't captured, or it could be that you've not quite got the settings right in the conversion.

A trick I found for putting some depth back into AEB HDRs is to take the dark exposure and layer it over the tone-mapped version. Quite a low transparency is all that's required to put some depth back into the shadows.

I understand people wont like my HDR but im not doing it on every report, im only doing it with big skys and this place has them all the time, thanks for the advice SG, will have a mess around with it, if you saw my first ever attempt at HDR youd think i had turned into the master compared to this report!

If you want to take it, there's a very rapid improvement progression with HDR.. in no time you'll be thinking nothing of settling down to take a dozen exposures of the same scene!
