Default Drummuir ROC - Aberdeen Group - 01/12

I was on the way to Aberz and had been doing a few days touring decrepit places (most of them farms so you won't see them posted here) and I decided to go off the beaten track with TS and go off to Drummuir.

Drummuir ROC has been locked up with padlocks and is in a very muddy field with very friendly sheltand ponies.

An aircraft post stands nearby, outside the compound; it is approximately 7’ X 5’ and is built from concrete blocks. It originally consisted of an open topped observation area approximately 5' X 5' and a crew room with a sloping tin sheet as a roof. A tin roof has been added over the observation room as well. There is a wooden door at one end which is locked.
Doesn't look as pretty as it did in 2003

Good to see you're oot'n'aboot again

That field is ridiculously muddy! Shame the post is locked, although it was seriously stripped when I was there in 2007/2008 - nowt but empty tinnies, and pub ashtrays :

And the usual lovely carpet of course The sign's got a bitty weathered over the last coupla years

Awww, that makes me sad seeing the picture of the sign you got in comparison with mine.

Nice to see the kiddiewinkles made a den without burning the post.
