Arrow Wortley Beck Shelters - Leeds - January 2011

Very boring to most but I have a passion for abandoned military stuff and shelters. These shelters are in very good condition and were probably for the workers of Stonebridge Mills rather than the houses behind, the people there would've had to get down a very steep bank and would've probably broken their necks before The Hun could bomb them.

There's supposed to be six here but I could only find two and the remains of a third so I think there was only three. There are other small foundations around so there was probably a toilet block too.

Under the radar, over the top
