Default Bailey's Mill. Delph Jan 2012

Well, I'm not one for histories usually........I leave that to the Beardy Bitch.....BUT i thought I'd stick a report up anyway.

SO, I nabbed Bobbington's brief history!

Bailey mill in Delph was built in 3 stages, starting in 1863 with later additions in 1865 and 1871 respectivelyand was owned by the Mallalieu family who were in the textile business strating withcotton and later moving onto wool, depite abandoning works at bailey mill in 1999 they moved just up the road to valley mill where they remain in business to this day.

SO, over a couple of visits (after finding this on a road trip and being gutted but not shocked to find reports) we took a few shots. It's a nice mooch...

OH and watch the floor on the entrance side of the bridge..........Beardy went through it the other day!
