"Known in the 1970's as the Hallam Towers Hotel (Hallam being an old term for the Sheffield area) ... this high rise hotel was later known as the Post House. Being a high rise, it was controversial when it was built in this 'traditional suburb' of Sheffield, and still is today ... as it is closed and awaiting a decision on it's future." source
No doubt you can see -Linq-'s mini report of this place just down the page. I wanted to get in and have a look myself and like him this is my first 'real' urban exploration. Happily the coppers didn't turn up while I was in there so I managed to have a good look round. Unfortunately it's really smashed up, the general atmosphere of the place is great and there's some class graffiti too.
I was on my own for this trip and would love to have someone else to go with for next time if anyone is interested. Post your skype name below and then delete once I've added you or something.

Bird of prey that freaked out when I found it and was trying to get out the window. When it calmed down it was pretty stunning, being so close to one in the wild(kinda).

Obligatory corridor shot - I didn't see any isolated chairs.

View from the roof in various directions, it was tipping it down but they seem to have come out ok.
