Uplands House - April 2012

Visited this lovely rural ruin with UrbanX and Em_Ux as my guides. Nelly recently did a lovely write up on this site and rather than go over the story again I will keep it brief and just add photo's . The site houses the remains of one house and indeed the rubble of a second both of which, as the story goes, were burnt down by their owner for reasons that are still debated. Was it truly in a jeaous rage, I guess no-one will ever know. I also got to see the famous Dog Tunnel that was discovered on a previous visit by fellow explorers sadly no pictures of it as I had no torch .
