Cwmorthin Slate mine (mini report) 8/2012

Im looking to go here and take my abseiling stuff if anyone interested was in two minds to go but this sung it for me!

Mate the point they have set up to abseil involved some thick bits of wood attached to the wall ,all with rope etc around top and a tiny path round to tie off point or whatver it is u call it lol..watched some people coming down..scarey stuff..not the abseil as such but the ropey pathway to the point

ah mate all ropes where there to hook onto etc so made safe just fun..people i saw coming down where in their 50's
