Default Terry's of York. March '13 Visit

Me and royalbob had a little trip round York doing some street stuff and decided to call in here on the way back as it's a place I never got chance to go.

Terry's opened in 1926 and closed it's doors in 2005. All the choccy oranges are now made in Poland and other places. A lot of the site has been demo'd.

Only had my compact camera and we weren't exactly dressed for squeezing through gaps. Secca in a cabin behind the clock tower meant we couldn't get up there either. Although it did look doable with a nice tempting window.

    Anyway, here's some snappy snaps.

If security were actually in then that's possibly an all-time first. I'm assuming there was still demolition plant onsite as there's fuck all else there to protect.

Aye, secca was in. No machines on site, but the sheeting was patched up everywhere. Must be something in the works.

Finally. Can't wait to sit on the clocktower roof again when it's live.

Secca on site, the last time I was there the doors were chained open!

Some nice images! What compact was it?
