    How about telling us a little bit about where this is? And a bit of history of the place. Posting just photos up, does not make a report.

    One of Palmerston’s Fort, built in the 1860s, and re-used during WW2,there are also remains of a Roman temple and and Iron age hill fort.
    The end of the fort's active service came at 5 am on 6 July 1900 when the No. 3 magazine which held 3 tons
    of gunpowder exploded.
    An inquiry found that a gunner(not sure if I'm allowed to name him) had fired a ball cartridge down a ventilator shaft causing the explosion, after being put on a charge for returning late to barracks.
    Several experimental weapons were trialled at Brean Down,but the only evidence is a short length of rail designed to launch a bouncing bomb
    The earliest settlement up there is Bronze Age
