The site closed down in January 2009 due to numerous bad reviews. Apparently all the chalets were damp, dirty, were infested with insects and had outdated decor. The site sold in 2011 for £43 million and plans were proposed to turn the land into apartments but met heavy resistance from the locals and the plans were scrapped, and it's now up for sale again.

To say that the place has been closed for 4 years it's virtually untouched... no graffiti and only one broken window that I saw. If it weren't for the height of the grass you'd think the place was only abandoned yesterday!

Visited with DannyDay1234567891011121314151617181920. Bit of a ballache finding the entrance to get into the site, but well worth the wait! Unfortunately most of my photos came out pretty crap but thought I'd share them anyway.
