Arrow Prospect Mills / WW Textiles - Leeds - January 08

This giant mill complex has been closed since 2007. It was home to the WW Textiles Group which have since moved out to more modern buildings elsewhere.

I investigated the older part of the mill last year, this is now half demolished and totally trashed. Shame because it was an excellent example of a Yorkshire mill.

The larger modern warehouse I got into back in 2006 and this has been sealed up tight ever since.

There remained one huge chunk of the mill not done. Having seen a way in I returned the next day to find it had already been sealed. There is a 24hr security onsite so they are obviously awake. Another opening presented itself this morning so I dropped in for a quick look around. This place has more creaks, bangs and clangs than anywhere I have ever been.

I know this is all very boring but it is a very local site to me and it's been fun seeing the different bits as they become explorable.

This is the latest bit I have explored leaving only the office block to do.

The only thing to do with good advice is pass it on. It is never any use to oneself.

Despite the obvious damage to the building it looks like a great explore-well captured too! So three out of four & counting....

I have plans but you would have to walk past security to get in there, look at the first pic and you can see where he lives

There is someone there 24hrs, I think he is a security / demo chap.

The place seems to be being legally stripped of valuable metals before demolition.
