Arrow North Somercotes ROC Post - (Lincolnshire Group) - Feb 09

    1968 Closure

Yep I am still plugging away at ROC posts, boring to many but it keeps me amused LOL

This one was completely feeked, situated in the sand dunes the access shaft had been capped and then smashed, no access underground. The rear vent is long gone but the FSM and BPI features remain. There is a most excellent aircraft post which Ernie should snag and set up at Skipsea

The other tower thing is an old relic of the oil industry and has nowt to do with the ROC.

Nah mate, the tall thing is something to do with surveying. The aircraft post is the pole and concrete jobbie.

I have never seen one in such great condition. This thing mate.
