know this place well my name is in the visitors book often apparantly it was much bigger but the roof colapsed so the church was rebuilt on a smaller footprint with donations from locals and ramblers. also known as the ramblers church as they shelter in there when it rains (all hearsay as i know a lot of people in this area)

actually its in goog condition but very oldly worldly. no electric or water open 24 hours (need to shove your finger in the hole in the door and lift latch) as far as i know it has had little vandalism, its still concecrated and a mass is said there at least once a year.

Thanks for the tip. I've driven past this church many times and stopped to photograph it once - got some rather unsuccessful external shots. But I've never mastered the trick of getting inside. I think I'll pop over there next weekend and have another go.
