Arrow Castleton ROC Post - (Yorkshire group) - May 2009

I visited Castleton ROC post last week. It's not the greatest post, and KE recently did it, but hey, it's my first one so I'm damn well posting it anyway

It's in a stunning location in the middle of the North Yorks Moors national park. Just look at that sky.

The fact that the hatch is missing suggests from the outset that it's not going to be a minter.

Down below it's a very stripped and moderatly trashed. The flooding is only about half an inch of water, but with no hatch that's only going to get worse.

Good to know where there's an emergency supply of bog rolls in Castleton when the Co-op's shut.

There's bugger all of the comms wiring left.

    Gratuitous arty depth-of-field shot.
