Located around the surrounding Buckinghamshire & Bedfordshire countryside are remains of the once 'Top Secret' establishments of the:
PWE, (Political Warfare Executive),
SCU, (Special Communications Unit),
SOE, (Special Operations Executive),
RSS (Radio Security Service),
PID, (Political Intelligence Department),
and of course Bletchley Park
Known locally as the "Bedford Triangle" these once secret places lay mostly forgotten and abandoned to time
I have just started out on a quest to find out what remains of all the above places that are made up of the "Triangle".
The first on the list: The PWE - Milton Bryan
Located down a narrow track that is pot holed and forgotten, lays the remains of a Guard House, that once was patrolled by Armed guards with Alsatian dogs, beyond the barbed wire fence and gate lays the remains of the former Secret Broadcasting Radio Station, that had the code name 'MB'! That transmitted Black Propaganda to Germany.
Made famous by Sefton Delmer! But more of this later in a separate Report
The Guard House First:
Laying up a forgotten track in the village of Milton Bryan is the guard house to a once secret WW2 Radio station.
Not much remains internally today and the historical value of this site has only recently been acknowledged by the laying of a blue tablet near the radio station.
A lot of the perimeter lighting and security was controlled from the guard House and the remains of the knife switches and electrical boxs remain.
The building is decaying as the 'Winds of Time' slowly erases the past
