Arrow Soviet War Museum, Ukraine - Apr 08

When our trip was organized to see Chernobyl, I knew I wanted to see this place before we left for home. It is quite frankly one of the best museums I have ever seen to date, a lot of the exhibitions are very very moving.

    Very interesting, thanks for showing

Some of those pics are quite moving, esp the barbed wire
The only thing to do with good advice is pass it on. It is never any use to oneself.

If I remember correctly, the barbed wire was from Auschwitz, as was the clothing pinned to the wire. The guillotine was something else, it was a real legit-fully-working one and taken a few lives away.

oh man thats epic loving the PPSH, and the shot of the IS-3. Soviets knew how to make epic tanks You can go to most Eastern european countries and dig up all that kinda stuff, ammunition (live) guns, even the occasional tank has been pulled out

Interesting stuff and quite moving. What's that thing with 282 painted on the side? Looks like some sort of battering ram.

You've got me on that one too, I couldn't work it out. Maybe some kind of big fuel truck?
