Had a wee look myself at this place. Was a pleasant wander around whilst the rain hammered down outside.

From the outside, the central spire with the arched windows stands out

what wonderful crest to be greeted with surely this must be saved and the arch almost could be art deco before its time

a mosaic in the central hall , these details I think give the institution a sense of pride and must have been splendid in its early days with the floor gleaming and displaying proudly the motto/shield

pastel blues

sadness always strikes me where I find children have been cared for in a hospital - reminded me of the pictures in Baldoven

found myself taking the same shots as those before me

a request then a please then exclamation marks - I can almost hear his frustration

ok BA yours is far superior

the pinnacle of this site has to be the domed roof

attic rooms with a view

thanks for looking
