I have seen pictures of this disused station on the 'net and decided to take a trip out to see with my two kids.

It's in a bad way, but that gives it a certain appeal of course but we kept to the outside. There were a number of vantage points to get good pictures and I hope you enjoy what I managed to get.

This site has been marked for a return visit without the kids as there is access, albeit a little dicey

As for the station itself, it was opened in 1845, located on the Great Eastern Railway Main Line between Norwich and Thetford, serving roughly 10 - 12 trains a day each way. In 1966 Hethersett Station was deemed surplus to requirements and closed (according to Wikipedia).
