Visited with 'Bunkerkid' - Kilkhampton is one of those posts you come across and think! 'Now this would make a nice resto'
Situated in its own very nice fenced compound, but easily got to from a farm gate(the original gate is there but has to be reclaimed from nature) it lays behind a 5 foot high, Cornish hedgerow.
Out of site of the regular holiday makers who use the layby, it remains in a remarkable condition. A, 91 closure its quite dry and waiting silently for someone to restore it
Although overgrown the compound fencing is well maintained by the farmer.
Post is open but its un-noticed location keeps people away!
Inside is stripped but dry (apart from sump) & complete with shelving and cupboard.
Original compound gate and entrance into layby, overgrown but still in situ!
