Arrow Tenby Mortuary - Pembrokeshire - August 08

Visited by many explorers on here already but until now a bit too far for me to travel. This great little building was used to prepare bodies for burial and not for autopsies. Most locals have probably walked past this a hundred times and never realised what was inside.

I think we can assume that the modern fashion for cremation has done away with the need for places like this where the body was dressed and given a make over for presentation and display. A curious little time capsule in lovely condition.

Visited with Silverstealth and entry and exits were a bit tight

Outside, looks more like a substaion or old GPO exchange.

Inside are two slabs, both like new.

This one used to catch and drain away fluids.

    This tap thingy still works.
