Arrow Bradfords city of the dead- Undercliffe cemetery--October 09

    Undercliffe cemetery Bradford- October 2009.

One of the best collecions of victorian funerary architecture in Britain- the place to be buried if you were of high social status in victorian society. It features many important architects, surgeons, doctors and military people.

The site features fantastic examples of ornate tombs, sculptures and obelisks.
During a period of its history it was used by a builder for storage and was at risk of being destroyed- it has now thankfully been saved.
