As the children sit playing with the empty boxes, the turkey was stuffed, arguments begin.. others woke on December 25th 2009 we take a walk about the old Central Post office in Sheffield It was built in 1910 as an addition to one built in 1897. It closed in 1999 when a newer one was built nearby and was finally sold for redevelopment in 2006. with the main post office moving to new premises within the Co-op store on Angel Street.
The Grade II listed Post Office building was up for sale for a considerable time before finally been sold for development in early 2006.
Now part demolished and damaged from lack of security this place is been left to ruin, it had taken 2 years for us to get in here each December we have looked and thought no way in, here are the images then.
