Capitol Building, Wallasey - 08/04/08 (ARCHIVED)

Just some pics I took that's now a car park. It was opened on 4th September 1926 as the Capitol Cinema. It held 1390 seats, a café, 15 shops and office space above the shops. It was modernised and became the ABC in 1959, however it closed as a cinema in 1974. Shortly after it became the Capitol Bingo Hall, however that also closed in the 90's and remained derelict until its demolition in April 2008.
