Went here with TheSurveyor.

Aberdeen Exhibtion and Conference Centre, TheSurveyor asked if we could take pictures up in the tower, they said yes, as simple as. A member of staff stayed with us but we weren't going to complain. We didn't go on the nicest of days but the view was spectacular to me.

It's an ugly building, but a good view over Bridge of Don. Well worth the blag...

What I don't get is.. Why? It doesn't really have any purpose other than a waste of money and an eye sore.

People like to build follies, it will be a testament to some council bigwig, only a man could conceive and commision a building like that, look at the shape for a start

I would like to get up there though, what is actually up there in the viewing area?

It's not hard to get there, just smile and be nice to reception and they'll let you in.
