Arrow North East Paper, Apr 2010

Not had a report to post for a little while, so i'm going to enjoy this one a bit!

This particular boxy industrial unit was once owned by the Mills Factory complex (i think they used to make nails here) but was aquired by NEP in the late 90's. A couple of expansions later they finally outgrew that building and moved into a bigger premises in town leaving this place in council hands since early 2006.
For a place that has only been empty a couple of years, it is very trashed inside and stripped to within an inch of its life but if you like big echoing industrial spaces (like me) its well worth an hour or so!

    So, pics.....

There is much fun to be had here with the rolls of sellotape lying around....

There are a few more on my flickr... and oh.
    I just couldn't help myself...

That's pretty fooked, but you've managed to pick out the interesting things nicely

And I have to say, I remember your first reports (on A.N. Other forum) way back in the day, and your photography has come on in leaps and bounds, those are crackingly crisp and composed shots

It really is, doesn't look that way on the outside, but once you get indoors its huge!

    thanks all
I love capturing the little details, especially when some people would take a look at somewhere like this and just dismiss it as stripped, or crap...
It soooo isn't, and even for a new-ish building it still has THAT urbexish smell...
